So someone asked me the other day for some British film recommendations, and I gave them these titles, so thought I would make a post out of it.
A lot of films vanish from my brain the moment I stand up from the couch or leave the theater, but Oldboy did the opposite, as it’s moved in, and rearranged the furniture in my head.
No Other Choice is funny, tense, emotional, and occasionally uncomfortable, but in the best possible way.
I am sure most people would have watched these horror comedies before, but if you haven’t, time to sort that out.
Greenland 2: Migration is a mix of heart, messy chaos, and generic spectacle, that is a little ridiculous and certainly won’t be winning any awards.
The Chronology of Water really made me think about the way trauma sticks, the ways creativity saves, and how messy life really is.
