Sink was great i love her as an actor and she's got a lot more to offer, but her character was so painfully underdeveloped. They gave her, what, one flashback and then expected her to carry some of the most gut wrenching scenes in the entire movie. If you want the audience to feel that much for a character you actually have to develop them first. Otherwise why introduce them at all?
