Mouse of Horrors
In a seaside town, chaos erupts as Doctor Rupert’s monstrous creation stalks the night, harvesting body parts for a sinister purpose. No one is safe
My Thoughts on Mouse of Horrors
ITN strikes again
It’s another ITN Studios product, and you can feel it, as it cheap, and clearly rushed.
Tubi release fits
Straight to Tubi was the right call, as it’s about as ambitious as a student film with a Halloween mask budget.
Shared universe confusion
There’s an odd crossover with the Blood and Honey world. “Bear” (clearly Pooh) just shows up for no reason. Is it connected? Is it reuse? Who knows.
The killer has energy
Lewis Santer as “Mouse” is the best part, and he’s clearly having a lot of dumb fun.
Everyone else phones it in
The rest of the cast feels pretty lost, and they deliver lines like they’re waiting for the day to end with zero conviction.
Weak setup, weaker payoff
The story about Dr. Rupert building monsters “Mouse” and “Bear” to collect body parts could’ve been fun B-movie madness, but it just limps from scene to scene.
Missed opportunity
A fairground setting has potential, but it’s wasted, as everything’s shot flat, and half the scenes are too dark.
Off-screen kills hurt it
Most of the kills happen off-screen, which is kind of disappointing in a slasher regardless of the budget.
Cheap look, no atmosphere
Everything about Mouse of Horrors just screams low budget, with dull lighting, bad sound, and no visual flair.
Small moments of fun
There’sa couple of very brief scenes that are ridiculous it’s entertaining in a pure Tubi chaoctic way.
Barely Mickey
Aside from round ears and a boat reference, it’s not really Mickey at all.
Self-aware, but not clever
The movie knows it’s dumb but doesn’t have the writing to turn that into charm.
Could’ve been camp gold
With a stronger script and more personality, it could’ve joined the “so bad it’s fun” club, but it’s mostly just bad and slow.
Final Thoughts on Mouse of Horrors
Mouse of Horrors is just another lazy entry in the public domain horror rush.
You’ll probably laugh a couple of times, for the wrong reasons, but forget it five minutes later.
Not even dumb fun – just dumb.
Final Score: 2.5 out of 10
UP: Lewis Santer’s performance, some unintentional comedy
DOWN: Dull direction, off-screen kills, wasted fairground setting, flat acting, zero tension

A lover of cinema for over 35 years, I have watched many films from around the world in many different genres, yet I still normally always come back to trashy slasher horror films when in doubt. More
And yes, The Godfather 2 is better than The Godfather.
